Learn how to make authentic Karwar Mutton Rassa / Mutton Curry from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani Karwar Special. <br /> <br />This is an easy to make village style spicy Mutton Curry where mutton pieces are marinated in masala and cooked in delicious gravy. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />For Red Masala Paste: <br />2 tbsp Oil <br />2 Onions, cut lengthwise <br />2 tbsp Coriander Seeds <br />1 tbsp Poppy Seeds <br />1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder <br />1/2 Cup Grated Coconut <br />1/2 inch Cinnamon <br />3-4 Cloves <br />2 Dagad Phool / Black Stone Flower <br />10-12 Dry Red Chillies <br /> <br />Green Masala Paste: <br />1/2 Cup Coriander Leaves <br />10-12 Garlic <br />1/2 inch Ginger <br />1 Green Chilli <br /> <br />For Gravy / Rassa <br />1/2 kg Mutton <br />Salt <br />3 tbsp Oil <br />Water <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- In a pan heat some oil. <br />- Add chopped onions, coriander seeds, poppy seeds, turmeric powder & grated coconut. Mix everything well. <br />- Then add cinnamon, cloves, dagad phool and dry red chillies. Saute everything well for few minutes. <br />- Let the mixture cool down completely. <br />- Grind it to a paste and keep it aside. <br />- Make a paste of coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, salt and green chillies. Marinate the mutton pieces with this paste. <br />- In a pan heat some oil. Add the marinated mutton. Mix everything well. <br />- Then add the ground masala paste. Mix well. <br />- Add little water. Let the mutton cook completely. <br />- Delicious Mutton Rassa is ready to be served.
